Without any further ado:
1) Reform the tax code. Whether it be a flat tax, national sales tax, or a combination - the income tax must abolished and the IRS dismantled. The power to tax is the power to destroy, and since 1913 the United States tax code has been a repugnant affront to the constitution and the American people.
2) Along with the reform in the tax code. there must be an elimination of social programs that steal from the productive and give to those who are able-bodied but unwilling to work. In addition, the federal government must pull out of public education - government control of education encourages corruption and lowers the standards and performance of educational institutions. The dumbing-down of the educational system is already evident by its products. Common Core is a disaster. Colleges have become a cesspool, producing not the best and brightest, but lazy, inept graduates unable to think logically much less hold or perform their jobs.
3) As chief executive, I would pursue the prosecution against any laws, federal or state, that would infringe upon the rights protected by the constitution. Any law that infringed on the freedom of speech, religion, and freedom to keep and bear arms must be attacked - these laws are an affront to America, it's founders, and the people who have fought and died to defend those rights. The Affordable Care Act is a monstrosity that must be repealed.
4) Proper investigations must be held concerning the actions and inactions of this administration and the Clinton's before them. Benghazi, IRS abuses, foreign contributions, voter intimidation and fraud, fast and furious gun-walking, demanding not to enforce immigration laws, attempting to tamper in Israel's elections, whitewater, Waco, travelgate, cattle futures - there have been more transgressions and no consequences. When justice is not executed at the highest level, lawlessness becomes the rule of the land.
5) Abolish Daylight Savings Time. This has nothing to do with my core beliefs or philosophies - it is just a ploy for votes.
6) Stop the social experimentation in the military. Military standards are designed to keep us safe by making the best possible soldiers out of the best possible candidates.

My Presidential Platform - part 1
I tweeted out that I only recently began actually wanting to be president - for many, that is a childhood dream, what I want to be when I grow up. Truth be told, I want to be a Navy SEAL, but 40 year old diabetics aren't SEAL material. So instead, I would choose to be the man to help return America to her former greatness. Here is a list of things (well, the first part anyhow) I would promote as a president:
1) Shut down all immigration for 3 years. It is not without precedent - we have closed the borders before in order to allow for previous years immigrants to settle in and more or less become "American." We used to care about being Americans, not hyphenated Americans. We were a melting-pot, not an increasingly balkanized nation.
2) Shut down DHS, return its authorities and responsibilities to the FBI, CIA, NSA, Border Service, and DoD. We don't need an extra department spending more money and doing a worse job of keeping America safe. Layers of bureaucracies endanger America by slowing down collection and analysis of threats and hindering response to those threats. Intelligence gathering and analysis by CIA, FBI, DoD, etc must be streamlined and these departments must share such intelligence more readily.
3) The Southern Border MUST be secured. A contiguous barrier system must be built and manned. The National Guard along with Border Service will handle security until the barriers are fully constructed and tested. Tunnel systems between the countries will be closed or co-opted to serve American interests. Drug cartels attempting to operate through the border will be considered the same as terrorists and will be exterminated.
4) Enhanced Interrogation will be S.O.P. for terrorists. Gitmo will remain open so long as we capture terrorists, and it will be where we conduct interrogation until we execute the non-uniformed combatants who have made war against us. Any person who engages in terrorism against the United States has forfeited any right to trial and any rights that preclude enhanced interrogation.
5) Withdraw from the U.N. and remove their presence from the United States. This nation is a sovereign country needing no international cooperation, mandate, or laws to govern us. We have a supreme law in our constitution. The U.N. does not, and has not looked-out for our interests as a nation; on the contrary, the U.N. and it's corrupt members have sought to undermine our laws, our influence, and our ability to defend ourselves and our interests worldwide. They have eaten up our resources and taken advantage of our hospitality by attempting to elevate themselves to rule over us. We have allies, and we have treaty organizations.
6) Support Israel. Stop paying lip-service and support Israel - first against Hezbollah, then Syria. Remove Syrian influence in Lebanon then Iranian influence in Syria. The 1921 British mandate map, which designated an area for the Jewish national home, is a reasonable set of borders for Israel. We should support a return to those borders. Israel is our truest ally in the region - we should treat them as such. No such support should be offered the Arabs who call themselves Palestinians. There is no legitimate claim, and no such people - even a leader of the PLO admitted:
"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism."
-- PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein, 1977
(If you want to read more about this, see Joseph Farah's excellent post Myths of the Middle East)
7) Stop playing the Iranian's game and start cracking down on state sponsored terrorism around the globe. We need to restore our enemies fear. Peace does not come to those who beg for it but to those who are strong enough to take it.

On Marriage
Today there has been quite a bit of discussion about "gay marriage." To be honest, much of the chatter by those who call themselves Christians is bizarre. So many people claiming that the loving, "Christian" position is to condone gay marriage. Others say that it should be allowed as a matter of "equal protection under the law." Primarily this post is an answer to those who call themselves Christians. A Christian by the definition of the word is a follower of Christ, that is to say Jesus the Christ, the anointed. So what did Christ say about marriage?
There are those who said Jesus said nothing about homosexuals or homosexual marriage. But let us examine what Jesus said about marriage starting in the book of Matthew in chapter 19. The Pharisees came to Jesus asking a question about divorce for any cause as a trap to him. Instead of simply answering about divorce, Jesus gave us the very definition and nature of marriage, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female." in verse 3. Marriage is "from the beginning," was established by "he who created them," and is for "male and female." Marriage predates human government and is not under the rule of government. Marriage was created and established by Christ himself, the creator of all things (Col. 1:13-17). That is to say, God the Son created man, created woman for man, and created marriage for man and woman to be joined together in a social-sexual-companionship union. Marriage, by the definition of the one who created it, is heterosexual.
I understand these statements don't fit with things so many so-called "Christians" are saying. So many of these don't have any idea who Christ is, what he has taught, and what he requires of those who wish to follow him. People want to believe in this image of a cuddly-wuddly Jesus and not the image of the eternal judge and Lord of Hosts (that is the Commander of the Armies of the heavens) as he is described as in Revelation. An ecumenical picture, painted by those who want popularity and money, is sold to those who are ignorant of the scriptures or too lazy to study scriptures themselves. Harsh? Maybe people should figure out whose name they are claiming to wear. How insulting to the one who created man, woman, and marriage is it to claim there is a better way!
Walk the walk if you are going to talk the talk.
I saw a line come across twitter today too many times. Liberal or Libertarian, I don't care what you are. "Marriage isn't yours to define" is right, but not for the reason you think. God defined marriage when he established it, you have no right to hijack or redefine it for your political purposes.
I don't blog to make you happy, I blog to defend the truth.

Simple Math... and more
With all the scare tactics coming from the Executive Branch of our government about the sequester and the media's willingness to be the ministry of propaganda, I thought it might me useful to review a little math. 1)One trillion is equal to one thousand billions 2)Next year's budget (though no actual budget has successfully made it through the house and senate) is scheduled to be 3.5 trillion dollars 3)The sequestration cuts are approximately 85 billion dollars 4)The sequestration amount is 0.243% of the total budget 5)THE NEXT BUDGET IS LARGER THAN THE CURRENT ONE! THERE ARE NO CUTS IN THE BUDGET - THERE ARE NEVER ANY CUTS. The government bloats like a rotting corpse. The claims that sequestration is going to seriously hinder the economy is so ludicrous that it borders on insanity. So the president goes out to make yet another campaign speech, telling us that the cuts are so draconian that we may never even notice them. No wonder Woody had to descry the president's actions and words as lunacy. Then the White House has the nerve to threaten a journalist who brought down Nixon??? And the left, the so-called defenders of liberty, free speech, and free press, treat Woody like trash? What in the world is going on here? Courting oblivion my friends. Oblivion.

Questions politicians don't answer
What right do you have to create new taxes without and against the will of the populace?
Why did the constitution have to be amended to allow for an income tax to begin with?
Why is the tax code so ridiculously convoluted an average individual needs a tax professional or lawyer to understand it?
Why is the government intent on punishing those who make the most of their financial opportunities?
Why is the government so intent on rewarding failure?
Why blah blah blah?
Power unchecked corrupts. Those in power vote to give themselves more power. Before the income tax, money and power were more spread among states and individuals. After the income tax, power and money flowed ever more freely to a central government. No matter how well meaning or benevolent the government may start out, eventually that government will become thoroughly corrupt when it has the power to confiscate money and property from its citizenry. Our founding fathers were not fools - the problems with our government are not a result of an archaic document not fitting the time. The problems are a result of men loving power and money more than their fellow man and from a group of elitists thinking they are smarter than anyone else.
We continue to court oblivion...
