Without any further ado:
1) Reform the tax code. Whether it be a flat tax, national sales tax, or a combination - the income tax must abolished and the IRS dismantled. The power to tax is the power to destroy, and since 1913 the United States tax code has been a repugnant affront to the constitution and the American people.
2) Along with the reform in the tax code. there must be an elimination of social programs that steal from the productive and give to those who are able-bodied but unwilling to work. In addition, the federal government must pull out of public education - government control of education encourages corruption and lowers the standards and performance of educational institutions. The dumbing-down of the educational system is already evident by its products. Common Core is a disaster. Colleges have become a cesspool, producing not the best and brightest, but lazy, inept graduates unable to think logically much less hold or perform their jobs.
3) As chief executive, I would pursue the prosecution against any laws, federal or state, that would infringe upon the rights protected by the constitution. Any law that infringed on the freedom of speech, religion, and freedom to keep and bear arms must be attacked - these laws are an affront to America, it's founders, and the people who have fought and died to defend those rights. The Affordable Care Act is a monstrosity that must be repealed.
4) Proper investigations must be held concerning the actions and inactions of this administration and the Clinton's before them. Benghazi, IRS abuses, foreign contributions, voter intimidation and fraud, fast and furious gun-walking, demanding not to enforce immigration laws, attempting to tamper in Israel's elections, whitewater, Waco, travelgate, cattle futures - there have been more transgressions and no consequences. When justice is not executed at the highest level, lawlessness becomes the rule of the land.
5) Abolish Daylight Savings Time. This has nothing to do with my core beliefs or philosophies - it is just a ploy for votes.
6) Stop the social experimentation in the military. Military standards are designed to keep us safe by making the best possible soldiers out of the best possible candidates.

My Presidential Platform - part 1
I tweeted out that I only recently began actually wanting to be president - for many, that is a childhood dream, what I want to be when I grow up. Truth be told, I want to be a Navy SEAL, but 40 year old diabetics aren't SEAL material. So instead, I would choose to be the man to help return America to her former greatness. Here is a list of things (well, the first part anyhow) I would promote as a president:
1) Shut down all immigration for 3 years. It is not without precedent - we have closed the borders before in order to allow for previous years immigrants to settle in and more or less become "American." We used to care about being Americans, not hyphenated Americans. We were a melting-pot, not an increasingly balkanized nation.
2) Shut down DHS, return its authorities and responsibilities to the FBI, CIA, NSA, Border Service, and DoD. We don't need an extra department spending more money and doing a worse job of keeping America safe. Layers of bureaucracies endanger America by slowing down collection and analysis of threats and hindering response to those threats. Intelligence gathering and analysis by CIA, FBI, DoD, etc must be streamlined and these departments must share such intelligence more readily.
3) The Southern Border MUST be secured. A contiguous barrier system must be built and manned. The National Guard along with Border Service will handle security until the barriers are fully constructed and tested. Tunnel systems between the countries will be closed or co-opted to serve American interests. Drug cartels attempting to operate through the border will be considered the same as terrorists and will be exterminated.
4) Enhanced Interrogation will be S.O.P. for terrorists. Gitmo will remain open so long as we capture terrorists, and it will be where we conduct interrogation until we execute the non-uniformed combatants who have made war against us. Any person who engages in terrorism against the United States has forfeited any right to trial and any rights that preclude enhanced interrogation.
5) Withdraw from the U.N. and remove their presence from the United States. This nation is a sovereign country needing no international cooperation, mandate, or laws to govern us. We have a supreme law in our constitution. The U.N. does not, and has not looked-out for our interests as a nation; on the contrary, the U.N. and it's corrupt members have sought to undermine our laws, our influence, and our ability to defend ourselves and our interests worldwide. They have eaten up our resources and taken advantage of our hospitality by attempting to elevate themselves to rule over us. We have allies, and we have treaty organizations.
6) Support Israel. Stop paying lip-service and support Israel - first against Hezbollah, then Syria. Remove Syrian influence in Lebanon then Iranian influence in Syria. The 1921 British mandate map, which designated an area for the Jewish national home, is a reasonable set of borders for Israel. We should support a return to those borders. Israel is our truest ally in the region - we should treat them as such. No such support should be offered the Arabs who call themselves Palestinians. There is no legitimate claim, and no such people - even a leader of the PLO admitted:
"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism."

People don't talk like that...
I don't have the most discerning taste in movies. I generally just want to be entertained - give me an interesting story, multifaceted characters, some special effects, and a few clever quotes and I am generally good. National Treasure is one of those movies I like - it is entertaining, has enough mystery with just a hint of romance to be fun. There is a quote - a phrase really - that begs for more attention. When discussing the wording of the declaration, one of the characters says "People don't talk like that anymore." There is a certain wistfulness, a certain longing in the statement. There is a desire for something that has been lost. When we examine the Declaration, then look at the current state of our government, there is much to be wistful about.
"When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation."
This first section, by itself, is foreign to the modern politician and modern political models. It is an appeal to logic and based on both the laws of God and reasonableness of men.
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world." This section brings chills to any patriot and to those who love this country around the world. What are the truths that are self-evident? All are created equal by their creator - not that everyone has the same talent, same looks, same stature - such a statement would be stupid, but that all are given by their creator rights that are unalienable, that is to say, these rights cannot be separated from an individual. These rights are as much a part of an individual as his own blood. These rights are enumerated here as "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." These rights do not flow from government, as governments are bodies of men who are fallible and equal, but Governments are the divinely appointed institution to protect these rights among men. Notice, in addition, that despotism and tyranny are rejected - "...Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from consent of the governed..." and "...whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government... most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness." Safety and happiness - such a simple model. It is such a simple and elegant idea of government - a government that protects its people from outside threats and protects their rights to run their own lives. It is not a nanny-state, not a social-program-bloated-rotting-corpse of a government. It is the type of government that an infant country adopted in rebellion against the most powerful empire in the world. That infant country defied the greatest empire since the Roman legion conquered Europe, Northern Africa, Asia Minor, and West India. It was no light matter to this fledgling country to assert its right to self-governance - indeed it was only the "long train of abuses and usurpations" that manifested a "design to reduce them under absolute Despotism," that made them just to revolt. It was a right, a responsibility to revolt against the crown and take the reins for themselves. The repeated injuries, usurpations, and attempted tyranny forced the colonists to act.
" He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against

desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely

I don't have the time to go through this section bit by bit, but truthfully, the fathers said it better than I or anyone I have ever read or spoken with could. The massive expansion of government, the massive expansion of taxation with out representation, the blatant infringements upon basic liberties are parallel to Obama and progressives in every complaint. King George, meet King Barack. And what have we done in return. We the people have "petitioned for redress" continually and have been "answered only by repeated injury."
" Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our Brittish brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends."
This may be the most particularly damning part of the declaration towards the British at the time and to those in Washington D.C. today. Substitute the majority of the ruling class for the "Brittish brethren." The establishment republicans and democrats - the ruling elite - these have rebuffed the calls for a stop to the madness, the power-drunk behavior of our president and his enablers. Justice has fallen in the street. Reason and common sense have been run out of town. Have we now come to a point where we the people must hold the ruling class as separate: enemies in war, in peace friends?
" We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor." For their love of freedom, love of justice, hope for their posterity, for the hope for the country they were trying to build, our founding fathers took upon themselves the mantle of "traitor" in their day. These men signed this Declaration knowing it was equivalent to a death warrant. How is it that we have fallen so far, how have we given away so much? These men offered everything, gave everything they had to hand down freedom for generations to follow. They pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor.
People don't talk that way today. They should.

Outrageous Obama Again
I don't really know why it comes as any sort of surprise that our president continues to make ridiculous statements - I am not really sure why it continues to make me as angry as it does. Then again, I really do understand. When someone with no moral authority, has no true moral compass, and has sold his soul for power long ago begins to make "moral" declarations, it is offensive to any person of conviction. It is insulting to be preached to by someone who proves himself dishonest to the core every day of the week. With that said, let's address a few specifics.
1) Mr. Obama claims that a "wage gap" is immoral. Mr. Obama, how about you be the first to give your salary, the monetary gifts from your "friends," your wife's book proceeds, and your future profits back to the American taxpayers if you believe the "wage gap" is so wrong. To borrow from a fellow "twit," Do you really think that a burger-flipper in any fast-food joint should be making the same as a neurosurgeon? Should the people who have sacrificed their time and money to be educated and skilled enough to operate on an eyeball or repair a knee be paid the same as the high-school dropout who is mopping the floor at the local convenience store. Are they both needful and useful positions? No question. Are they equally valuable? That's a rhetorical question. Simple common sense, even as rarely as it seems to show up these days, tells us that some jobs are worth more than others. Tell me, Mr. Obama, who is more valuable, an American soldier or a Starbucks barrista.
2) Mr. Obama made statements to the effect that there is a decreased pie for those seeking handouts from the American taxpayers, i.e. the government, and the influx of more people into dependency will cause racial tension. Despite the increased rate of confiscation by the government, i.e. taxes, revenues have not improved for the government. This isn't a surprise to any of us who understand economics. Truth be told, it isn't a surprise to the far left-winger - they understand that taxation is about control and creating dependence upon the government, otherwise known as socialism. Higher taxes do not increase revenue, they kill private sector growth. Of course Mr. Obama knows this, being the hard-core socialist he is, and he is happy to continue to mislead the public about it. Don't you, Mr. Obama? You claimed to be the post-racial president, yet you keep bringing race up. Why is that? And why is it that you profile minorities as being dependent on the government dole? Tell me, Mr. Obama, are you a racist?
3) Mr. Obama made some statements about the Zimmerman case a couple weeks ago. Well, he has made several statements over the months since the shooting and through the trial after saying he would refrain from making a statement or interfering. Let's see, there was, "If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon." Really? I am pretty sure your genetics would produce a son who looked more like you and Michelle. Oh, wait, that isn't really the point, you decided to go for influencing the trial and polluting the jury pool by associating Trayvon with you, the president. When it looked like the case against Zimmerman was going to be dropped without a trial, you sent your flunky Attorney General out with his thug friends from the New Black Panthers to talk about the case. You had your AG send agitators and investigators to Florida to put pressure on the local law enforcement. When Zimmerman was found not-guilty, a correct verdict, you said that Trayvon could have been you 30 years ago. I suppose part of that is true, since both you and Trayvon were junkies. I don't suppose you assaulted a half-white, half-hispanic man when you were young on the basis that he looked like a "cracka."
Mr. Obama, you are a disgrace to the office of president. Your "constitutional professor" title is a myth. You have proven yourself friendly to the radical Islamists who are a threat to our freedom and the freedom of our allies. You are an enemy of the United States of America. You have been an enemy since your childhood, when your father taught you to hate the U.S. You learned how to infiltrate and harm this country while under the tutelage of Saul Alinski. Thanks to an ignorant populace, complicit media, widespread voter fraud, and thugs at the polling places, you have been elected twice to the most dangerous position in the nation. I hope enough people wake up in time to keep this country from being destroyed by you and your friends.

On Marriage
Today there has been quite a bit of discussion about "gay marriage." To be honest, much of the chatter by those who call themselves Christians is bizarre. So many people claiming that the loving, "Christian" position is to condone gay marriage. Others say that it should be allowed as a matter of "equal protection under the law." Primarily this post is an answer to those who call themselves Christians. A Christian by the definition of the word is a follower of Christ, that is to say Jesus the Christ, the anointed. So what did Christ say about marriage?
There are those who said Jesus said nothing about homosexuals or homosexual marriage. But let us examine what Jesus said about marriage starting in the book of Matthew in chapter 19. The Pharisees came to Jesus asking a question about divorce for any cause as a trap to him. Instead of simply answering about divorce, Jesus gave us the very definition and nature of marriage, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female." in verse 3. Marriage is "from the beginning," was established by "he who created them," and is for "male and female." Marriage predates human government and is not under the rule of government. Marriage was created and established by Christ himself, the creator of all things (Col. 1:13-17). That is to say, God the Son created man, created woman for man, and created marriage for man and woman to be joined together in a social-sexual-companionship union. Marriage, by the definition of the one who created it, is heterosexual.
I understand these statements don't fit with things so many so-called "Christians" are saying. So many of these don't have any idea who Christ is, what he has taught, and what he requires of those who wish to follow him. People want to believe in this image of a cuddly-wuddly Jesus and not the image of the eternal judge and Lord of Hosts (that is the Commander of the Armies of the heavens) as he is described as in Revelation. An ecumenical picture, painted by those who want popularity and money, is sold to those who are ignorant of the scriptures or too lazy to study scriptures themselves. Harsh? Maybe people should figure out whose name they are claiming to wear. How insulting to the one who created man, woman, and marriage is it to claim there is a better way!
Walk the walk if you are going to talk the talk.
I saw a line come across twitter today too many times. Liberal or Libertarian, I don't care what you are. "Marriage isn't yours to define" is right, but not for the reason you think. God defined marriage when he established it, you have no right to hijack or redefine it for your political purposes.
I don't blog to make you happy, I blog to defend the truth.
There are those who said Jesus said nothing about homosexuals or homosexual marriage. But let us examine what Jesus said about marriage starting in the book of Matthew in chapter 19. The Pharisees came to Jesus asking a question about divorce for any cause as a trap to him. Instead of simply answering about divorce, Jesus gave us the very definition and nature of marriage, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female." in verse 3. Simple Math... and more
With all the scare tactics coming from the Executive Branch of our government about the sequester and the media's willingness to be the ministry of propaganda, I thought it might me useful to review a little math. 1)One trillion is equal to one thousand billions 2)Next year's budget (though no actual budget has successfully made it through the house and senate) is scheduled to be 3.5 trillion dollars 3)The sequestration cuts are approximately 85 billion dollars 4)The sequestration amount is 0.243% of the total budget 5)THE NEXT BUDGET IS LARGER THAN THE CURRENT ONE! THERE ARE NO CUTS IN THE BUDGET - THERE ARE NEVER ANY CUTS. The government bloats like a rotting corpse. The claims that sequestration is going to seriously hinder the economy is so ludicrous that it borders on insanity. So the president goes out to make yet another campaign speech, telling us that the cuts are so draconian that we may never even notice them. No wonder Woody had to descry the president's actions and words as lunacy. Then the White House has the nerve to threaten a journalist who brought down Nixon??? And the left, the so-called defenders of liberty, free speech, and free press, treat Woody like trash? What in the world is going on here? Courting oblivion my friends. Oblivion.

Questions politicians don't answer
What right do you have to create new taxes without and against the will of the populace?
Why did the constitution have to be amended to allow for an income tax to begin with?
Why is the tax code so ridiculously convoluted an average individual needs a tax professional or lawyer to understand it?
Why is the government intent on punishing those who make the most of their financial opportunities?
Why is the government so intent on rewarding failure?
Why blah blah blah?
Power unchecked corrupts. Those in power vote to give themselves more power. Before the income tax, money and power were more spread among states and individuals. After the income tax, power and money flowed ever more freely to a central government. No matter how well meaning or benevolent the government may start out, eventually that government will become thoroughly corrupt when it has the power to confiscate money and property from its citizenry. Our founding fathers were not fools - the problems with our government are not a result of an archaic document not fitting the time. The problems are a result of men loving power and money more than their fellow man and from a group of elitists thinking they are smarter than anyone else.
We continue to court oblivion...
